For more than 50 years, GSA has been the beating heart of softball in the Mid West. Our association proudly fields teams from Junior Tee-Ball (4–13 years), Junior Softball (10-17 years) right through to Senior Men’s and Women’s divisions, with a membership base of over 600 players, coaches, officials, and volunteers. We provide pathways that take young players from their very first game all the way to State and National representation, while also creating opportunities for skill development in coaching, umpiring, and community leadership.
Our mission has always been about more than just sport. It’s about building confidence, connection, and community. Through softball, we teach teamwork, resilience, and inclusivity — values that ripple well beyond the diamond. And thanks to the dedication of our members, families, and local supporters, GSA continues to grow stronger each year.
Looking ahead, we have bold plans for the future. From our iconic Annual June Carnival — the largest women’s softball event in the Southern Hemisphere — to the rebuild of our clubrooms and new development initiatives for juniors, our vision is ambitious but achievable.
