Positions Open for Nomination:
Nominations are now open for the following Office Holders: 1. Chairperson (2-year term) 2. Deputy Chairperson (1 year term) 3. Secretary (1-year term) 4. Treasurer (2-year term) We're also looking for Committee Members to join our team:
• Committee Members (1 or 2-year term) - up to 7 positions available
Additionally, we are also seeking interest from Committee Members in the following positions: • Registrar: responsible for managing registrations and memberships • Umpire in Charge: oversees umpiring operations and development • Junior Development Officer: focuses on promoting and developing junior softball programs • Media Coordinator: handles publicity, social media, and communications • Grounds Person: responsible for maintaining and improving our playing fields • Funding Coordinator: responsible for securing funding and managing grants for the association About the Committee: The committee members play a vital role in managing the affairs of the Association. As the management committee, they have the power to make decisions and oversee the operations of the Association. What to Expect: • Election of office holders and ordinary committee members • Review of the past season • Discussion of future plans and initiatives • Opportunity to get involved and shape the direction of our association Why Attend: • Have your say in the future of Geraldton softball • Meet the current committee and learn about their roles • Nominate for a committee position and get involved • Enjoy some refreshments and socialise with fellow softball enthusiasts All members welcome.
